Kenny Daniels update

He’s fine (or so it seems). I mean, you’ve got to be healthy to be out on the court. Then again, is it me or is he walking funny? Well fact is: he’s playing right now. CSUN up 18-14 with 11:00 to go in the first half.

By the way…

Nice crowd at The Matadome for it being a non-school day. It’s the home-opener for conference I guess. And Rob Haynes with the hot hand. He’s put up two three-point tries and he’s made good on both.

More injuries?

Another starter, Willie Galick, has come off the floor grimacing in pain. It’s not clear whether he’s hurt, tired or just practicing his pain face, but after an offensive foul was called on the Tigers (Galick was the recipient of the foul) the forward hobbled to the bench grabbing his knee. He’s back on the court. He seems fine. CSUN up 8-7 with 15:33 to go in the first half.

Bad start: Kenny Daniels down

CSUN starter Kenny Daniels went down with what seems to be an ankle injury. Following a turnover, Daniels sprinted back trying to catch the runaway Tiger but seemed to lose his stepand ended up on the floor grabbing his foot. He got up and tried to defend even though he was in clear pain. Finally a timeout was called and he came off the floor. He’s being attended on the sidelines. Pacific leads early on, 5-3.
