Have a few drinks at this Burbank office

From Monday night beer pong games to Tuesday night karaoke, live bands and other forms of entertainment throughout the week, there is nothing typical about a day or night in this particular Burbank office.

‘The Office’ is a place to get away and catch up on the latest sports and entertainment, eat good food and share drinks with friends. At night, the Office lobby transforms into a place of fun-filled entertainment for people 21 and over.

Staff Editorial, Week 15: We can?t forget the role a teacher plays

All levels of the education system are in shambles even as stimulus funds begin to roll in. Changes are underway here at CSUN as some summer classes have been canceled or are only being offered to seniors. The lower levels of education are being hit just as hard though. Young students and parents are being affected by this crisis, and it trickles down into the rest of society.

The end rarely justifies the mean

Last week CSUN Students for Israel sponsored ‘iFest.” It commemorated the creation of the state of Israel 61 years ago.’ While they have a right to celebrate Israel, there are some important questions which need to be asked: What was life like for the people that were already there?’ What happened to the villages, refugees and the Palestinians when Palestine became Israel?
