This scene could easily be misconstrued as being from the streets of Tehran, with protestors and journalists being brutalized by basijis.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and The Myth of America has a powerful lure. These are the American forces of freedom we celebrate on the 4th of July.

It’s the illusion of freedom, there’s more effective ways to repress dissent than outright violence on a mass scale. Letting people believe they have freedom of choice, while it’s the same few corporations that control our lives.
