Matadors get off to a good start in Dallas

The Northridge men’s soccer team started its longest road stretch of the season Friday and will have an unheard of seven consecutive games away from Matador Field. CSUN beats Hawaii to snap losing streak

The CSUN women’s soccer team (4-5) shut out the University of Hawaii 1-0 on a sweltering Friday afternoon at Matador Field.  Junior forward Farryn Townley scored the lone goal of the game in the first half, and a very impressive performance by junior goalkeeper Kellie Drenner kept Hawaii scoreless to preserve the win for the Matadors. CSUN Queer Studies minor ready for second semester, new program can be completed in 18 units

Answering the demands of students and faculty members, the College of Humanities has been offering CSUN students the opportunity to explore gender and sexuality through the queer studies minor. New Leash on Life, a nonprofit animal rescue organization, experiencing financial hardships

Like many organizations in the current economy, New Leash on Life, a nonprofit animal rescue, is facing financial hardship — making it difficult to stay afloat. CSUN employee parking fee increase creates tension

Concern and frustration about parking increases has many CSUN employees taking a stand and speaking out about what they are calling a parking injustice. Many CSUN employees were notified by e-mail on Aug. 27 that their parking rates were going to increase beginning Sept. 1.  What faculty and staff did not realize was not all employees were going to be receiving the same fee increase.
