Someone forgot that the cardinal rule for pedestrians BEFORE they cross is to STOP and make eye contact with the driver. This is a contract between both that they understand the rights of each. Pedestrians have a habit of just continuing on their way across the street without first stopping or even looking. Not very smart pedestrians. Let’s all wakeup & take charge of our own safety!
