I was there and that is where I learned about the buses that would take students to Sacramento. Stop asking for everything to be handed to you. Get informed by looking for it yourself.

Cal State Northridge has over 34,000 students, and I invite you to friend on facebook or follow CSUN AS on Twitter to stay in the loop. The University has policies regarding spam, and if AS was to email everyone on campus about the different events or sponsored activities on campus we both would be a little irritated.

One last comment, after taking COMS 360 (Communications and the Sexes) I would like to ask you to be more conscious of your language in the future, i.e. “because YOU guys.” The Associated Students Senate is not comprised of all males, so please use gender neutral language in the future, your classmates and future employers will be impressed by your emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.

I am upset because I didn’t even know about this “field trip to Sacramento” to protest was happening. . As a matter of fact, many of my friends here at CSUN did not know about the trip to Sacramento. It says in this article that the associated students where sad about the turn out. Only 60 students? Im sorry, less than 60 students signed up? But did the A.S. ever notify the University as a whole, VIA emails or flyers? Apparently not, because , many students where clueless. Even when the news reporters came to our school a few weeks ago. No one really knew what was going on. So here is what I have to say to the Associated Students, If you want to see a better turnout, you need to let ALL of us know. We didn’t elect you to sit on your butt and not say anything, then get all sad and depressed that no one showed up because YOU guys did not open your mouths. There are many students who are outraged that our tuition keeps rising. If we all stand together and we all are in the know we can be more unified as a university. Once again, our tuition will get raised, I know it will. All Im saying is it would have been nice to know what was going on. Thank you Daily Sun Dial.
