This is an alarming piece of information. If it is true,
everything you said in this post, I wish more people read this. I
believe there are still lots of causes which are responsible for this global
worming & we overlook them very easily.

“Overgrazing, degradation and erosion are causing farmers
to look for new land to move their livestock to, resulting in the destruction
of forests and eventually, human development, as people are forced from their
homes by drought and famine in search of more fertile soil.” – This is a big
problem though & we should get careful about this till we have time.

It’s difficult to deny the fact that things are getting odd. To go from summer weather in the middle of January to looping bouts of chills in April is nowhere near ordinary. The dreaded “myth” of global warming appears to be becoming a reality, but the question is, have we attributed the crime to the right suspect?
Weather has varied from year to year for eons. Because it's cold in some places in April means nothing.

Also, you might want to read this aricle from the Los Angeles Times: Eating meat helped early humans reproduce, spread around the globe

"As environmental science has advanced, it has become apparent that the human appetite for animal flesh is a driving force behind virtually every major category of environmental damage now threatening the human future: deforestation, erosion, fresh water scarcity, air and water pollution, climate change, biodiversity loss, social injustice, the destabilization of communities, and the spread of disease." Worldwatch Institute, "Is Meat Sustainable?"

"The livestock sector emerges as one of the top contributors to the most serious environmental problems, at every scale from local to global. The findings of this report suggest that it should be a major policy focus when dealing with problems of land degradation, climate change and air pollution, water shortage and water pollution, and loss of biodiversity. Livestock’s contribution to environmental problems is on a massive scale and its potential contribution to their solution is equally large. The impact is so significant that it needs to be addressed with urgency." UN Food and Agricultural Organization's report "Livestock's Long Shadow"
