The University of Haifa has a very diverse student body. 33% are Arabs, both Christians and Muslims. They have a center that promotes cooperation between Jews and Arabs on campus and in society. When I lived in a dorm there (admittedly a long time ago - the 80s) there were lots of Arabs in the dorm. The Hebrew University of Jerusalem is at least 20% Arabs. How could Klein write such nonsense? He should go there and see all the girls in Hijab.

I wonder where David Klein gets his information about the University of Haifa. In particular, his comment that “If a Palestinian student applied to the program and was accepted, it would be dangerous for them just on the basis of their race.” This seems very unlikely, considering that there are many Arab students on campus. As the Wikipedia article

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_of_Haifa about the university states: "Beyond
the objective of a first-rate higher education, the University of Haifa aims to
provide equal educational opportunities to all sectors of the society, and in
particular to encourage mutual understanding and cooperation between the Jewish and Arab populations on and off campus" That does not sound to me like the place that Klein is claiming to describe!
