CSUN will be hosting a seminar called “The Constitution and the Presidency: Clear Words, Mysterious Silences” on Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

The seminar will look at presidency over the years and why the president was given certain powers and more.

Panelists will include James Sefton, CSUN history professor, and John Evans, political science professor at the University of Wisconsin. They will talk about the importance of the Constitution and its significant meaning.

With the election on Nov. 6, it is important for voters to be informed about the president’s certain powers and what the Constitution says about them.

The seminar will be held at the University Club-Orange Grove Bistro. There will be a continental breakfast at 8:30 a.m. followed by the seminar at 9 a.m.

The event is free and parking can be found in lot G1.
