Monday, Aug. 31:

An unknown suspect stole the front wheel of a bicycle in an unspecified area of the CSUN campus. The theft occurred at 2:15 p.m., according to the campus crime log.

A CSUN officer arrested a suspect for an unauthorized disabled placard in the B3 parking structure. The arrest occurred at 8:23 p.m. The suspect was later cited and released.

Tuesday, Sept. 1:

A man allegedly attacked a girl in a parking structure on Tuesday at approximately 1:30 p.m.

The man, who is estimated to be in his early 20s, engaged the girl in conversation then proceeded to ask her out. The girl responded that she had a boyfriend and he grabbed her buttocks and kissed her shoulder. The girl was able to push the man off of her and called police.

The man is described as Hispanic, about 160 pounds and 5 foot 11 inches tall. He was wearing a white T-shirt, black pants with stripes on the sides and aviator-style sunglasses.

Three people got into a fight on Tuesday near Geronimos. The incident occurred at 6:37 p.m. and was referred to student affairs.

A CSUN officer arrested a suspect in parking lot F10 around 7 p.m. for a bench warrant for failure to appear.

The suspect was transported to the Los Angeles Police Department Van Nuys jail for booking.

CSUN officers arrested two people for displaying unauthorized placards. Both incidents occurred in the B3 parking structure. The first suspect was arrested at around 2:30 p.m. and the second around 2:50 p.m.

Both suspects were later cited and released.

A hit-and-run collision occurred in parking structure G3 left on persons drivers side bumper damaged. The suspect fled the scene in an unknown direction. An investigation is ongoing.

Wednesday, Sept. 2:

A wallet was stolen from a woman who fell asleep in the lobby of Monterey Hall at approximately 4:30 p.m. The investigation is continuing, according to the crime log archive.

A bicycle was stolen from the front of the University Park Apartments on Wednesday night. The crime occurred between the hours of 5 p.m. and 2:35 a.m., according to the crime log archive.

A woman’s cell phone was stolen after she left it unattended on a counter at the bookstore. The incident occurred after she made a purchase at 12:30 p.m. The investigation is continuing.

Personal belongings were stolen from a women’s bathroom in the Education Building after a woman left her belongings unattended. The theft occurred at around 8 p.m.

Multiple residents were referred for disciplinary action following drug-law violations in the University Park Apartments. According to the crime log archive, there were a total of 12 violations.

The trim from the drivers side door of a car in parking lot B4 was stolen between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. The investigation is continuing.

An unknown person used counterfeit U.S. money at the Pub and at the Mercantile between 3:24 p.m. and 4:17 p.m. on Wednesday. The investigations are continuing, according to the crime log archive.

Thursday, Sept. 3:

A cigarette thrown into a trash can near Sagebrush Hall left the can smoking. The incident occurred around noon, according to the crime log archive.

An unknown suspect flattened a tire in parking structure G3 around 11 a.m. on Thursday. The investigation is continuing.

A bicycle was stolen out of a bike rack at the University Park Apartments around 9 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.

A cell phone was stolen near the University Park Apartments while the victim was in the nearby Freudian Sip. The investigation is continuing, according to the crime log archive.
