Alleged gunmen who chased two CSUN students through the University Park Apartments property on March 11 have been identified and later arrested, but the deputy city attorney will not prosecute.

"The case did not merit criminal prosecution (because) all suspects denied having a gun or using a gun during the incident," said Anne Glavin, CSUN chief of police.

As the high cost of living and economic downturns leave many people in the U.S. struggling with debt, job loss and foreclosure, CSUN finance students and experts share advice on what students can do to ensure a better future.

Paying for college has never been easy, but in this economy it has become increasingly difficult for students dealing with high tuition costs, books, housing, gas and other living expenses.

Internal tibial torsion, commonly known as "toe-in", affects many children under the age of two, and usually corrects itself when a child learns to walk.

Jillian Stapf's case however, proved a bit more severe -- evidenced by the fact that her doctor could turn Stapf's left foot around a full 360 degrees.

Manley Witten has been publisher of the Daily Sundial for eleven years, helping the rotating staff to produce breaking news, features, sports and investigative stories before they are released into the real world to prepare for a media job. Unfortunately, his time at CSUN will come to an end in August, when he departs for Pittsburgh with his wife.

The goals of journalists: Seek truth. The goal of government: Control truth

Seek truth and report it. Minimize harm. Act independently. Be accountable.

These are the four main principles of the Society of Professional Journalists code of ethics, what aspiring and professional journalists should live by and faithfully follow. It describes journalists' responsibility to the public in reporting and providing them with the truth of what goes on in the world, no matter how reluctant or skeptical the public might be.

The past few weeks, I've been a water works. As an emotional chick that grew up in a house that encouraged crying for therapy, I've had to come to terms with the fact that because I cry at the drop of a hat, I will never be an ideal mascara consumer. So what's the big deal, you ask? The big deal is that in about two weeks, I'll be walking across the steps of the Oviatt library, my black gown billowing behind my rapid pace.
