Tax cuts that were signed into legislation by President Bush in 2001 and 2003 will expire next year, unless Congress votes to extend them. President Obama has said that he favors extending the tax cuts for individual taxpayers who earn less than $200,000 per year and households that earn less than $250,000 per year. Local farm provides fresh produce for students and staff on campus

In an effort to provide CSUN students and staff with healthier and more sustainably grown produce, the Marilyn Magaram Center for Food Science, Nutrition and Dietetics has partnered with Underwood Family Farms in Moorpark for the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) program. “It saves students money, supports local farmers, and is convenient and economical,” said Jenna Jackson, project manager at the Marilyn Magaram Center. New bicycle compounds coming to B5 and G3 parking structures

Know your ballot: vote yes on proposition 21

Proposition 21 aims to establish a vehicle license surcharge to help fund state parks and wildlife programs.  Surcharged vehicles will have free admission to all state parks. I can hear the moaning already:  Times are tight!  No more taxes!
