Black box theater designed for student performances and productions

Students will be able to perform at the new black box theater housed in the Valley Performing Arts Center. The first student performance scheduled is “Big Love,” a retelling of an ancient Greek story about the battle of the sexes that is set to open Feb. 11. CSUN implements new safety measures after 1994 quake

The magnitude 6.7 earthquake that shook Northridge at 4:31 a.m. on Jan. 17, 1994 caused $400 million in damages. All buildings were damaged, including the Oviatt Library, which suffered damage to both wings and a partial collapse of the roof. Bedbugs in Los Angeles on the rise

The Center for Disease Control stated that bedbugs in the United States are a rising concern, and California is no exception.  Starting on the East Coast and filtering across the country, bedbug outbreaks are affecting hotels, dorms and residential spaces.
