Students eating at participating campus eateries get discounts

The University Corporation is attracting students to campus eateries by giving them discounts and a chance to win prizes. The Passport, a 3-by-3 inch folded card that has 11 slots of participating CSUN eateries, must be stamped after making a minimum purchase of a $1.50. Matador Patrol service provides safety to students and faculty during late hours

Waiting outside building five at CSUN’s housing, George Martir, 17, was approached by CSUN’s matador patrol after curfew and asked if he needed to be escorted. “No, I’m waiting for my mentor,” Martir said he responded. Martir, undecided major, said that was the first time he learned about Matador Patrol.
