After snapping a five-game losing streak with a 4-2 win at UC Santa Barbara Wednesday, the Cal State Northridge softball team (23-14) looks to continue to turn the corner at home this weekend. It won’t be an easy task as the Matadors will face No. 25 Cal Poly (28-9).
The Cal State Northridge softball team (23-14, 3-5) lost two games to UC Santa Barbara Saturday afternoon at the Gauchos’ Softball Complex. The losses now have the Matadors in a five-game losing streak. CSUN was 20-3 over its past 23 games before the current skid.

It’s their longest winning streak since 2004.
