CSUN more prepared for earthquakes and emergencies

Times have changed since 1994, especially when it comes to CSUN’s earthquake preparedness. Fifteen years ago, the 6.7 magnitude Northridge earthquake shook some buildings into unrecognizable mounds of rubble, including the CSUN campus. State budget problem continues CSU cuts

Two dirty words have been circulating around CSUN since last year. Budget cuts. CSUN students protested earlier last month, challenging tuition hikes and the reduced amount of classes offered for summer and fall.
