After a two-game trip to Texas in which they lost both contests, the Matadors return home looking to get into the win column for the first time this year. Visiting The Matadome will be the University of San Diego Toreros.

Not a good road start

Women’s soccer beat by UCR 1-0

The Matadors just can’t seem to find the back of the net. Northridge was defeated by the UC Riverside Highlanders 1-0 Thursday afternoon at Matador Field. It marked the third straight game that the Matadors were held scoreless in a contest.

In their first exhibition contest of the 2008-09 season, the Cal State Northridge Matadors women’s basketball team fell 81-72 to Love and Basketball Saturday afternoon at the Matadome.

Women’s soccer host two looking to make tournament

The Matadors return home for a pair of games to finish off their 2008 regular season. Today they host UC Riverside while Sunday they wrap up the season as they welcome Cal State Fullerton. Despite a winless last weekend, Northridge is still in good position to reach the Big West Conference playoffs.
