CSUN Associated Students (A.S.) celebrated Earth Day by joining with 30 clubs and organizations who were out to promote healthy living and environmental awareness by sharing tips on going green, selling healthy foods and having students participate in environmental friendly games.

Las Vegas comes to Matador Nights

Since 2006 Matador Nights has been a popular themed event for students to have a fun and entertaining night on campus. Matador Nights offers games, live music and food free to CSUN students. CSUN will be having its last Matador Nights event of the school year on Friday April 24.

Tournament time; BYU again

After going 16-6 in league, the No. 2 Matadors men’s volleyball team now gets ready for the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Tournament. Northridge goes into the tourney as the third seed after finishing behind No. 3 Pepperdine and No. 1 UC Irvine in the standings. They will host BYU on Saturday at 7 p.m. The game will be blogged live at the Matador Score.

Matadors get UC Riverside for last homestand

Despite getting swept last weekend by No. 22 Cal Poly, the Cal State Northridge softball team (24-17) still believes it can win the Big West Conference. However, it seems like the Matadors will have to win the rest of their conference games in order for them to have a realistic chance at that. Their gauntlet begins this weekend against the UC Riverside Highlanders. The three-game series will be the final homestand of the regular season for Northridge.

CSUN hosts Highlanders

The CSUN baseball team (17-22, 4-8 Big West) will resume conference play this weekend as they host UC Riverside (21-13, 2-7).
