Brasswell, Tresvant trial postponed

The June 18 trial date has been postponed for CSUN’s leading basketball scorer Deon Tresvant, basketball coach Bobby Braswell’s son, Jeffrey Braswell, and actor Phannuel Gbewonyo.  June 18 was the scheduled date for the jury trial at the San Fernando Superior Court for felony charges of theft. Braswell candidate for head coach position

According to a blog posted by ESPN’s Andy Katz, Cal State-Northridge’s Bobby Braswell is a potential candidate for the vacant USC men’s basketball head coach position.  Braswell is being mentioned following a remarkable run that ended with a near upset of no.2 seed Memphis, in the NCAA Tournament. “I was not aware that he was being considered as a candidate for this position, but I am not surprised,” said CSUN’s Assistant Athletic Director Bob Vazquez.  “He is a great coach… Read more

The Waves took the third set behind Paul Carroll’s seven kills. Pepperdine didn’t trail and CSUN now trails 2-1. The Matadors must win the next set to keep their season alive.
