Timeout again
The Matadors are still in control, up 15-3. The CSUN fans are louder than they’ve been the whole game and you can’t even hear a pur out of the Tigers. Pacific is 1-of-9 from the field at the 11:41 mark.

The Matadors have a 14-3 lead. They’re hitting their shots and Pacific can’t buy a bucket. Let’s see if a timeout is going to bring some heat to the Tigers’ shooting. And the Matadors have just been called for their first foul (on Kenny Daniels) at the 13:40 mark.
Momentum seems to be on the Matadors’ favor. CSUN leads 5-3 with 15:27 to play in the first half. Northridge has been getting the majority of the calls for now. We haven’t seen Bobby Braswell complain so far.
Neither the Matadors nor the Tigers are lacking in fandom tonight. It’s a competition of who can get the loudest here. It must be said, however, that the Pacific band makes up for half of the Tigers’ support. Yup, they’re that numerous. Game-time.
CSUN: Mark Hill, Rob Haynes, Willie Galick, Kenny Daniels and Tremaine Townsend. Pacific: Chad Troyer, Michael Kirby, Anthony Brown, Sam Willard and Joe Ford.
Our score: Tigers 60 – Matadors 15 And there is this one guy wearing a Pacific shirt who’s sat right in the middle of the Matador crowd. They tried to kick him out, but he came back. OK, now he’s leaving. Good for him. Thirty minutes till tip-off.
The Tigers are stretching, the Matadors are shooting around. Not anymore. They went into the locker room as a band of fans applauded and cheered them repeatedly (almost as a joke). Thirty-eight minutes til tip-off. Some dude came in with what seemed to be a shirt with an anti-CSUN Best Buy reference. His shirt read, “Best Bud” and had a joint sticking out of the logo. I don’t know if that’s a shot or what. And the Pacific band is… Read more
