CSUN students continue dialogue about the Matador Statue

Two CSUN students asked the Associated Students Tuesday to keep the dialogue going about the controversial Matador Statue and the need for more classes which was voiced last week. Anthony Garcia, a student arrested in the March 4th protest, said the issue of the Matador Statue keeps resurfacing in his mind. “I just wanted to ask the Senate if the entire Senate approved the building of the statue,” Garcia said. CicLAvia turns out many pros and a couple of cons

This past Sunday, on 10/10/10, Los Angeles held its first Cicolvia, in LA known as CicLAvia, with 7.5 miles reserved mainly for bicyclists, but also for people to walk plus several activities were held throughout the route. LGBTA wants queer resource center on campus

Along with supporters, LGBTA president asked the Associated Students (A.S.) for their support for a queer resource center on campus and for the recent suicides of gay teenagers.
