Two Chris Devine free throws gave UCSB the lead, 66-65, as the two-minute mark is about to arrive. However, Tremaine Townsend dunked two points to give the advantage right back to CSUN. Crunch time, people.
Jaime Serná just shot a shot that should be on ESPN. It hit the back of the backboard. CSUN isn’t that much better but still leads 65-64 with four minutes to go.
The 7-foot-2 center hasn’t been able to hit a shot, and he’s had a couple. He now leaves the court grabbing his face in frustration. CSUN up 58-52 with nine minutes to go in the game.

Interesting. After scoring five points early in the game, Rodrigue Mels didn’t return for the rest of the first half. Now he’s starting the second.
