CSUN’s Sigma Alpha Epsilon lends a hand with Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity is building homes for low-income working families in Pacoima. On Saturday, Sigma Alpha Epsilon, a fraternity at CSUN, spent the day helping out. CSUN men’s basketball wins over UC Irvine to stay in second place

After having its three-game winning streak snapped Thursday at UC Riverside, Cal State Northridge bounced back to defeat UC Irvine, 91-83, Saturday at the Matadome and remain in second place in the Big West standings. Black box theater designed for student performances and productions

Students will be able to perform at the new black box theater housed in the Valley Performing Arts Center. The first student performance scheduled is “Big Love,” a retelling of an ancient Greek story about the battle of the sexes that is set to open Feb. 11. CSUN dorm burglaries jumped substantially in 2010

The Department of Police Services and the Office of Student Housing are working together to reduce the number of burglaries on campus by raising awareness on theft in CSUN dorms. In December alone, four burglaries were reported to campus police, bringing the total number of reported cases up to 27 dorm burglaries for 2010.
