Reed has appointed provost of CSUN, Dr. Harold Hellenbrand, as the university’s interim president beginning Jan. 1, 2012 until the process to name a permanent president is completed. Who’s picking CSUN’s president?

With President Jolene Koester retiring at the end of the semester, the Northridge Presidential Search Committee has been working hard to find her replacement. More uncertainty in presidential search

More taxes for better education

A majority of Californians are willing to pay higher taxes to support public education, according to a recent poll conducted by USC and the Los Angeles Times. CSUN students marched through the halls and walkways of campus, blowing whistles and shouting, “CSUN, walk out, CSUN shake up,” in hopes of trying to raise campus awareness of various school issues.
