Fans who want to travel to Orange County for the Big West Conference Tournament without having to worry about getting stuck in traffic can now go to the University Student Union for help.

The Student Union along with the Union Program Council have organized a rooter bus trip to the Anaheim Convention Center to cheer on the CSUN Matador men’s basketball team throughout the Big West Tournament, starting Wednesday night when the Matadors face the Pacific Tigers at 8 p.m.

In a statement released by the USU to the Daily Sundial, Students can celebrate school spirit and receive transportation to the Anaheim Convention Center. Students will also receive a Red Rally T-Shirt, rally towel, get their face painted in school colors and the opportunity to win great prizes.

The bus trip also extends into Thursday night should the Matadors make it to the next round. Game time for Thursday is pending the outcomes of the opening round.

Students interested in making the trip to Anaheim Wednesday night are instructed to meet in front of the Fitness Center on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.

Fans and students can purchase tickets on the second floor of the Sol Center, where the Student Union is located, starting today. People who buy tickets are automatically reserved and are instructed to meet in front of the Fitness Center at 4:30 p.m., though fans are advised to arrive early.
