Mechanical engineer major Tadaoki Matsudaira, 24, came to the U.S. from Japan about 5 years ago. He studied biotechnology at a Japanese University before he came to the U.S., but later decided he wanted to learn mechanical engineering. It was this ambition that drove him to CSUN. He has spent about 40 hours per week in the laboratory designing a car model on his computer. After he graduates CSUN, he plans to work at Honda as an engineer. One day, we may be driving a car that is developed by Tadaoki.
