Marvel (iOS/Android, free) – When Disney bought Marvel Comics in 2009, Marvel didn’t have a presence on mobile platforms.  With apps now available on Android and iOS, Marvel comics are now readily available on mobile, often for free.  Comics are presented in full-screen mode and users can pinch-to-zoom to see the details of the art and dialogue bubbles.

MouseWait (iOS/Android, free) – This app’s primary purpose is for real-time wait time updates for both Disneyland and California Adventure, but it also has a ton of extra features that make it an essential part of any Disney trip.  The app allows for users to upload wait times and Fastpass return times to broadcast to other users who may be in the parks that day.  The app also features a restaurant finder that uses GPS to find the nearest food.  Other helpful bits include a character finder, annual passholder blackout calendar, park hours, and even a list of iPhone charging station locations for those moments when you drain the battery from your phone after taking tons of photos and videos.

My Movies by Blu-ray.com (iOS/Android, free) – This free app is tied to blu-ray.com, which helps track pricing for Blu-rays as well as DVDs, PS3 games, and XBOX 360 games.  The app also keeps track of all the media in your library, so when you’re trying to remember if you have a certain movie or game (Disney or otherwise), all the information is in one place.

Sorcerer Radio (iOS/Android, free) – When you can’t visit Disneyland, Sorcerer Radio is the next best thing.  The free app is an internet radio station that features music found only in the theme parks.  While it has its flaws (it can only play music from lesser shows and attractions for blocks at a time), it works as a great way for a Disneyland fix.

Where’s My Perry? (iOS/Android, free/99 cents) – A spin off to the popular “Where’s My Water?” game, Where’s My Perry features Agent P of the TV show “Phineas and Ferb.”   The object of the game is to clear dirt in order to get water into a tube and dodge challenges along the way.  At times, water needs to be converted to steam or ice in order to solve the puzzle, which uses a physics-based engine to determine how water would flow from section to section.  The addictive game features hilarious dialogue from the show’s characters, Dr. Doofenshmirtz, Major Monogram, and Carl.  A short demo version is available for free on both Android and iOS, while a much longer version is available on both platforms for 99 cents.
