Michael Dukakis, former Massachusetts governor and democratic presidential nominee, will be discussing the results of the 2012 election in the Grand Salon on Feb. 19 at 7 p.m.
Dukakis will be speaking on what kind of tone the results have set for governing in 2013.
Dukakis was governor of Massachusetts from 1975-79 and 1983-91 and the Democratic nominee who ran against George H.W. Bush in 1988. Dukakis is now a professor of political science at Northeastern University and a visiting professor of public affairs at UCLA.
The event, sponsored by the political science department, is free and open to the campus community.
