Snowboarding:

Neff’s headwear division posted a video of Tim Humphreys and some of his local buddies shredding the Neffland Killington Mountain Resort in Vermont. Getting as technical as it gets on a park like setup, the guy’s

ride rails and rollers like they have done it a million times. There is a lip slide in particular that caught my attention. All these guys have insane style and make it look too easy.

Nowamean just released a teaser for their video “Renaissance” and it’s crazy. I’m going to be honest, I know a little bit about snowboarding, but just enough to be dangerous. Seeing some of the street snowboarding they are doing just blows my mind. As Snowboarder Magazine put it, “This is the next generation of rail riding.”

I’ve seen people ride over grind stoppers before, but this is nuts. I can’t do the video justice. Even if you are not a big snowboarding fan, you would be able to appreciate the talent these guys are pumping out. Watch the video here.

BMX:

Brandon Begin is a name that we started to see a lot of in the last two years. His recognition began with Begin’s move out to California and hanging out with the likes of Adam Grandmaison, Nate Richter and Caleb Quanbeck to name a few. After his video for OSS caught some attention for the gnarly slam he takes in the beginning, we have just seen more and more of him. Whether that is a good or bad thing is a matter of opinion, but what I will say is that he has grown as a rider since his introduction as a pro rider. Just before his move out to the west coast Begin was filming a part for a 4 Kegs video, which is currently in an awkward phase; regaurdless, Thecomeup has just posted his part for your viewing pleasure. Even back then begin was showing what kind of rider he is and what he could progress to become. Check his part on Thecomeup’s youtube page or their website.

Fox clothing company has a pretty strong team of riders on their BMX roster and the just released a video called “Breaking Boundaries Australia Tour.” The team takes a van full of bikes and team members on a tour of Australia. They go to some skate parks that make me pretty jealous. There is a lot of B-roll in this video, just a heads up, but regardless check it out.

Skate:

The Baker team and Thrasher had a surprise for us this Friday as they posted the Lost footage from the Sheldon skate park demo titled “The kill Tapes”. According to Thrasher, the hard drive the team had the footage on crashed and they were sure it was gone forever. This is a short, but sweet video you’re going to want to check out. Antwuan Dixon takes the banger in this one, you know its sick.

Another surprise coming from Thrasher is Jereme Rodger’s unseen “Yeah Right” part. Rodgers was killing everything he touched around the time of this video and after watching it, it’s almost laughable to call this footage “leftovers.” I understand clips not making it, but this is an edit in itself. Head to Thrasher, check it out.

Surf:

The Pottery Barn posted a video feature Kelly Slater in which he is the name of a new environmentally friendly furniture collection. I would have never expected Slater to come out with a furniture collection, but if it makes a positive impact on the environment, who is complaining? The video released is part surfing, part promotion, part explanation.
