It’s still untitled, but the first exhibit at the “Shed Gallery” in the CSUN Art Department featured Mehrnoosh Eskandari’s month-long artwork. The “Shed Gallery” showcased a flush of colors splayed on to cardboard and pieces of paper on a three-sided wall, with dim lighting and a confined, yet fitting space. Eskandari’s work provides a take of the complex human psyche in the modern era.

Eskandari, 31-year-old art major emphasizing in painting, visited Los Angeles last year, and quickly moved to the city from Tehran, Iran, to show more of her work to the masses. Eskandari had her art showcased in two exhibits in Berlin, Germany, prior to coming to L.A. to continue work on her portfolio.

The art department will continue to hold Eskandari’s exhibit until next week and will run other students’ work throughout the semester. Be sure to check into the Culture Clash desk to stay tuned to see more of CSUN’s artists and their work.
