Monday, Oct. 19:

A man accessed data on a victim’s phone when he was not authorized to do so.

The crime occurred around 6 p.m. and the incident is still under investigation, according to the crime log archive.

An unknown suspect used red marker to graffiti a wall in the men’s restroom on the second floor in Live Oak Hall.

The incident occurred at unknown hours on Monday night or Tuesday morning.

Tuesday, Oct. 20:

A girl was injured after a hit-and-run driver struck her near Vincennes St. and Lindley Ave. on Tuesday.

According to the archive, she was crossing the street when her backpack was struck by a car. The suspect did not stop and continued eastbound on Vincennes St.

CSUN officers arrested a suspect for outstanding warrants at 6:42 a.m. near Merridy St., according to the crime log archive.

The suspect was transported to the Van Nuys jail for booking.

A known suspect tampered with a boot that had been placed on his car for unpaid citations then left with the boot still on.

According to the crime log, the theft was captured on the campus CCTV camera system in parking lot B5.

An unknown suspect used black marker to write graffiti in the second floor men’s restroom in the Oviatt Library. The investigation is continuing.

Wednesday, Oct. 21:

An unknown suspect used black spray paint to write graffiti on the roof of the Planetarium and Citrus Hall, according to the crime log archive.

An unknown suspect collided with a car in parking lot B1 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

The suspect hit the drivers side door of the victims vehicle and fled the scene.

Thursday, Oct. 22:

An unknown suspect used black marker to write on the walls in the second floor, men’s restroom. The investigation is continuing.

A bathroom at the VPAC was vandalized when an unknown suspect used black marker to write graffiti on the doors, mirrors and stall walls.

According to the crime log archive, the incident occurred on the first floor, external men’s restroom on the outside of the main ticket office.

A parking permit was stolen out of a victim’s vehicle in parking lot B2 between the hours of 9:45 a.m. and 5:15 p.m.

There was no sign of forced entry and the investigation is ongoing.

Friday, Oct. 23:

A bathroom on the first floor of Manzanita Hall was vandalized when an unknown man used black marker to write on a wall, according to the crime log archive.

The VPAC bathroom was vandalized again on Friday when an unknown suspect used black marker to write on the walls in the first and second stall.

The incident occurred at unknown hours in the men’s restroom near the main ticket office.

Two roommates got in a fight in the University Park Apartments around 1:30 p.m. on Friday.

The two got into a verbal and physical altercation and the investigation is ongoing, according to the crime log archive.

A cellphone was stolen off of a man who left it unattended on the CSUN shuttle bus on Friday morning.

The incident is still under investigation.
