On Tuesday morning, many students on campus noticed something important was missing; the weekly Farmers Market.

CSUN engineering major Gloria Jasso, immediately noticed that the market was missing last Tuesday.

“I was always used to going to it between my classes last year,” Jasso said. “I’m glad it wasn’t only for the fall semester.”

Though it was missing during the first week of school, its return on Feb. 2 will bring many of the old vendors back out onto the East University Drive and Clearly Walk East, and it will also bring some new vendors as well.

Last semester held the successful Farmer’s Market that came to campus bringing over 50 vendors to the CSUN campus. A few notable items located conveniently on the CSUN campus includes: organic produce, prepared foods from different cuisines, jams and jellies, crafts, bread and many others products.

The Associated Students have been in full swing, preparing for its return.

“We’re hoping this semester’s Farmer’s Market will be as successful as last Spring’s,” said Associated Students Program Advisor, Austin Ysais. “…being successful is a reflection of our campus.”

Just like last semester, the weekly Farmer’s Market will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information visit: http://www.csun.edu/csundining/csun-farmers-market-every-tuesday
