Relive 2005 at The Echoplex’s Taking Back Tuesday: Emo Nights LA. Wednesday 2.3 — Film — Hammer Screenings: Flux Series

The Hammer Museum will present its Flux Screening Series, an eclectic curation of short films and music videos as well as other visual representations of artistic interpretation from all over the world. This screening will feature special guest filmmakers Terri Timely, Joel Knoernschild, Suzi Yoonessi and others, and will host works from artists such as Tame Impala, Miike Snow and the late David Bowie. The film will be followed by a live DJ set from Marion Jones.

Thursday 2.4 — Museum — European Art tour at LACMA

The Los Angeles County Museum of Art will offer a 50-minute tour of its diverse collection of European art. The tour features 17th century Dutch and 19th century French paintings, as well as Italian and French baroque artwork. Friday 2.5 — Music — Reggie Watts at Teragram Ballroom

Reggie Watts, the acting bandleader for the “The Late Late Show with James Corden” on CBS, will headline the Teregram Ballroom this Friday. Best known for his improvisational routine and beatboxing, Watts never fails in flexing both his musical and comical capabilities. Watts is a nationally-recognized performer having had successful tours in the U.S., Europe and Australia, and dozens of late-night guest appearances.
