Associates Students elections: Where, how to vote

Voting for representatives within the Associated Students and University Student Union will begin at 8 a.m., April 13, and end at 6 p.m., April 14.

Online voting can be done through devices with email access. A personalized link will be sent to students’ CSUN Gmail account and can be completed by following four simple steps:

  • Click on the link and you will be directed to your personalized ballot.
  • Select your candidate choices.
  • Submit your vote.
  • After voting successfully, you will be emailed a receipt to your CSUN Gmail account.

Additionally on these two dates and times, there will be three locations on campus for students to register votes. Students can receive help at these locations if they encounter any problems from voting online or technical issues. The three locations will be:

  • Arbor Grill
  • Sierra Quad North
  • Matador Bookstore

Students vote on the A.S. presidential cabinet and senate members. This includes the president, vice president, members from divisions [lower division, upper division or graduate student], and members of the USU Board of Directors.

Candidates for the A.S president are:

  • Sevag Alexanian
  • Jonathan Goldenberg

Candidates for the A.S. vice president are:

  • Kenya Lopez
  • Aanchal Padyal
