Saturday 4.23 – Plant Life

Growing Bromeliads

Bromeliad enthusiast Bryan Chan will share his strategies on growing the different types of bromeliads, you can register for this event online. Bromeliads are a diverse family of plants that includes the ever-popular “air plants,” feathery Spanish Moss, and the tasty pineapple, with many variations in between.

Sunday 4.24 – National Park

Joshua Tree National Park.

If you aren’t making it to Coachella this weekend, at least take your own trip to the desert and gain free admission to Joshua tree National park. The historic park is participating in free National Park week which began April 16 and Sunday is your last chance to get in for free.
