In the same match, Brooke showed the importance of being a supportive partner. During the game, Anna Yang hit two double faults in a row and she started getting mad at herself.

Instead of admonishing her, she gave her a high five and smiled at her to boost her morale. In the next point, Yang played a terffic volley and they won the point. I usually hate playing doubles for this specific reason. It puts pressure on me and ruins the fun of the game.

I would rather be in control of the game myself. Players need to be very careful in choosing their doubles partner.
