Thousands of people gathered March 18 to protest the U.S. occupation in Iraq and demanded the withdrawl of American troops. The march started at the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and Vine Street and ended in front of Grauman’s Chinese Theater on Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue. The war in Iraq is in its third year, with the death toll of U.S. troops recently surpassing 2,310.
