Dream Act workshop helps undocumented students

Undocumented students who need help filing out their 2013-14 California Dream Act application can attend the Dream Act workshop Monday, Feb. 18

The Dream Act, which took effect in January, grants undocumented students access to state financial aid and scholarships at public universities and community colleges.

Students interested in attending should bring a pen or a laptop, theirs and their parents’ tax returns and W-2 Forms, but these items are not required. The deadline to file for any financial help is March 2.

CSUN’s Financial Aid & Scholarship Department will be conducting this workshop from 12-2 p.m in the USU Flintridge room.

For sign language interpreting needs please contact National Center on Deafness (NCOD) at (818) 677-2054, 72 hours in advance.
