Thefts, burglaries, vandalism occurred during spring break

April 14, 2014- Theft of Personal Property

The investigation continues for someone who stole a cellphone from a bench, at the Student Recreation Center around 6 p.m.

April 13, 2014- Motor Vehicle Burglary

The investigation continues for an unknown suspect who broke into a car secured within the G3 parking structure to steal a parking permit between 9:30 and 11:00 in the morning. Despite the vehicle being secure, there were no reported signs of forced entry.

April 13, 2014- Driving without a License/Unsafe Speed/Curfew Violation

A suspect cited for driving without a license, unsafe speed and a curfew violation was transported to a substation for pick-up by a parent, after being stopped in the G9 parking structure for a traffic stop, at 1:17 a.m.

April 12, 2014- Battery

Two suspects involved in a fight, were arrested at 4:05 in the morning. Both were transported to the CSUN Station for booking, before later being released.

April 11, 2014- Driving with a Suspended License/ Cellphone Violation

On the block of Plummer and Reseda, a suspect was arrested for driving with a suspended license and cell phone violation, after a traffic stop. The officer released him at the scene.

April 9, 2014- Petty theft

A sign and the A-frame attached to it, were stolen from the eastside of the library. Investigation is on-going for the unknown suspect.

April 8, 2014- Hit-&-Run

Two street signs on the block of Etiwanda and Plummer were struck by an unknown suspect who later fled the scene.

April 8, 2014- Vandalism

Someone sprayed black spray paint, graffiti, on the sidewalk and sign of the Tram route, as well as on the sign of the Softball Field entrance.

April 7, 2014- Theft with Priors

A suspect was arrested by a CSUN Police Officer for theft of a bicycle, which he confessed to during a pedestrian stop. The suspect was transported to LAPD Van Nuys Jail for booking.
