Throughout the United States, hookah, also known as waterpipe smoking, continues to grow as the new tobacco trend of the 21st century, appealing to young adults who may be unaware of its harmful effects. According to a new report by the American Lung Association of California, "An Emerging Deadly Trend - Waterpipe Tobacco Use," hookah smoking is just as harmful as cigarette smoking and releases high levels of hazardous chemicals, including carbon monoxide and metals.

WW II Photos See Light of Day in Oviatt

This summer the CSUN Oviatt Library is hosting an art exhibit displaying 35 photographs taken almost 65 years ago that have remained undeveloped and unseen by the world until just recently. Every day hundreds of students walk by the exhibit. Unaware of its presence, students search for an open cubby that they will utilize in order to study and sleep in for the next few hours or so.
