Dear Editor: In the April 8, 2008 edition of The Sundial, Savannah Dawkins refers to the musical "Tommy" as an "obscure rock musical" ("'Tommy' makes musical debut at CSUN with live band"). The original version of the opera, an album by the very successful band The Who, sold over two million copies.

In reading "Are you related to Obama or Hilary" written by staff reporter E. Mansoorian I could not help but agree on her stance. I too am appalled by the extremes the weekly entertainment magazines or any news outlet takes in giving attention to less important topics.

In Tiffany Kelly's article, "The blue blood battle continues," she asked whether Senator Clinton's recent success in two big states, Ohio and Texas, were worth it because Senator Obama still hold more super delegates currently and it's extremely difficult for her to catch up.

The anti-war march took place March 15, and it has taken place annually since the occupation of American troops in Iraq. This year the march started off at the Hollywood and Vine METRO red line station ending in front of the CNN building in Sunset. This year's march proved to be a very peaceful rally, in which many people, even the cops, took some time off from the protest to either pose for the camera or mingle amongst each other.

Dear Editor, The recent opinion article by Betsy Garcia ("The media may have taken away Clinton's chances") profoundly misses the mark on why the Clinton campaign finds itself in its current predicament. It is not the media, as Ms. Garcia suggests, it is Clinton and her campaign staff who should bear the burden of this potentially failed campaign.

Dear Editor: Great article on Governor Schwarzenegger and his establishment of a new California cabinet position.? Volunteerism is very important and certainly we should all do our part.? Unfortunately in cash-strapped California, where we are running a huge deficit with the threat of many cuts to services (and probably increases in student fees), do we really need another bureaucratic official commanding a salary of $75,000.
