Matadors defeated by Boise State, 5-2

The CSUN women's tennis team lost back-to-back matches for the second time this season. On Sunday, the No. 70 nationally-ranked Matadors lost to No. 46 Boise State University (13-4) at the Matador Tennis Complex, 5-2. "Experience played a key role," senior Kanykey Koichumanova said.

Matadors still perfect in Big West

While the CSUN students were on Spring Break, the women's tennis team was dominating the courts. The Matadors, ranked No. 70 in the nation, won three of four matches in an eight day span, pushing its record to a perfect 5-0 in the Big West Conference and 9-3 overall.

CSUN splits series against St. John’s

The CSUN men's baseball team split a four-game series against a tough, nationally ranked St. John's squad this past weekend at Matador Field. On Friday, the Matadors won in dramatic fashion, 6-5. In Saturday's doubleheader, Northridge lost the first game 10-4, and won the second 9-7.

Matadors back on track, beat Georgia State 4-3

After two consecutive losses, the CSUN women's tennis team got back on track Wednesday with a 4-3 win over visiting Georgia State. The Matadors, ranked No. 73 in the country, swept in doubles play and won three of six singles matches. Two of the doubles matches went to a 17th deciding game.

CSUN loses final PCHA playoff game 12-2 to San Diego

For the Gale household, hockey is a family affair. J.P. is a 6-foot, 230-pound junior defenseman for the CSUN men's hockey team.

More than 130 people packed the Valley Ice Center in Panorama City on Friday to watch the CSUN men's hockey team close its regular season with a 4-1 victory over rival UCLA.
