The women's basketbal team looked like a different squad Saturday, getting out to a 39-20 halftime lead and crusing to a 78-67 win over the Titans at the Matadome.

The Matadors had momentum throughout the game but Rebecca Meassen was too much for them.

The women's basketball team will try to fight off last-place UC Irvine, which is trying to push down the Matadors into where they are at the moment. The game will be played at the Matadome and is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.

The UC Riverside Highlanders had no love to give to the Matadors on Valentine's Day and served them a heart-smashing 62-41 beating.
