Media sources that every student should know

Justin Satzman February 23, 2006
Working in journalism, I am very concerned about the state of the media. When I hear people tell me they think the media is liberal or it has an agenda, it makes me worry that people are beginning not to trust the media, or that they already have. It also upsets me when I watch certain networks that have an agenda and do not admit it when they do.

Some of you may be aware that the Angels changed their name last season from Anaheim Angels to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. I know that some of you who did not know this are wondering why a team would change their name to this.

Make the Super Bowl a national holiday in U.S.

Justin Satzman February 3, 2006
I do not care what anyone else says, this day should be a national holiday. Super Bowl Sunday is one of the most intense days on the calendar. I know it is not as important as the Fourth the July and it does not have the religious implications of Christmakkah or Passover.
