I thought the TA article was quite interesting and information. However, I noticed there was no mention of the TAs who were kicked out of the program this semester by CSUN Human Resources, because they were also staff members. This despite the fact there are about 30 staff who also teach.

Arthur Vong October 24, 2006
Scouting and recruiting for a college soccer team depends on skills, relationships and a little bit of luck, according to Cal State Northridge's men's and women's soccer coaches. Americans can no longer play online poker

William Kammer October 24, 2006
A little over a week ago George W. Bush and his administration snuck another law by the American people. In an article published Oct. 23, it was inaccurately reported that the reason Miran Mavlan's family moved to America was to escape oppression. Rather, his family moved to the United States for education through a scholarship program. In an article published Oct.

Rock’n’roll, body boards and geography

Nicholas Collard October 24, 2006
Growing up around the South Bay, I knew a guy who would pay me $20 to clean his CD collection. He was a part-time doctor and a full-time rocker; every so often he would set up his keyboard next to an open glass door overlooking Hermosa Beach and play the blues with some local buddies.

There were more than 5,000 people at Big Show this year, as compared to 2,100 last year, and the individuals involved at Associated Students' division of Student Production and Campus Entertainment are extremely proud. This year's Big Show provided many firsts for the on-campus concert series.

Solicitors allowed only in some CSUN areas

Kantreal Daniels October 24, 2006
Walking to the Matador Bookstore to go to Freudian Sip can sometimes be annoying when people are standing in your way trying to get you to join this or donate money for that. Sometimes, walking to class and passing through Sierra Quad can be a difficult task when there are groups trying to get your attention left and right.
