If picking the right classes can be tough, imagine how hard it is to make the schedule of classes. Many students have already registered for their spring 2007 classes. While some may be frustrated because the classes of their choice are full or the sections are unavailable, others-especially working students-may become frustrated because there are not enough classes offered at night.

Size discrimination, advisement discussed at Senate meeting

The A.S. Senate met yesterday in the University Student Union's Grand Salon for a little more than an hour to discuss size discrimination, student advisement and cultural student groups. Steven Vanover, Director of Legislative Affairs, announced that he will be attending the California State Student Association monthly meeting in December to submit changes to the CSSA constitution to include size discrimination.

Debate continues on laptops vs. desktops

It seems as though desktop computers, which have been in production since the 1980s, are becoming a thing of the past. "I see more people coming in the store and buying laptop computers vs. desktop computers," said Kahn, an employee at Circuit City. Just by observation on campus, it is evident that many students are using laptops.
