AUN (pronounced aah-uhn), is an electro-acoustic group made up of twin brothers Ryohei and Kohei Inoue originally from Osaka, Japan.

Cal State Northridge women's basketball head coach Staci Schulz had hoped to celebrate her birthday on Tuesday, Dec. 5 with a win over the Hawaii Rainbow Wahine. However, the Wahine had other plans, and they waited until the second half to play the role of party pooper, as they used a 46-point second half to rally from a 13-point halftime deficit to defeat the Matadors 72-61 at the Matadome.

Junior Calvin Chitwood scored a career-high 30 points to lead the Cal State Northridge men's basketball team to a 102-98 win over Eastern Washington at the Matadome on Dec. 3. Chitwood's performance earned him Big West Player of the Week honors on Dec. 4, his first such honor.

Men’s swimming defeats Cal Poly, women’s places fourth

The CSUN men's swimming team defeated Big West Conference opponent Cal Poly Mustangs by a score of 188-106, but the women's team finished fourth at the Cal Poly Invitational on Dec. 2 at Sinsheimer pool. The men's team only competed against Cal Poly while the women's team on top of Cal Poly had to deal with Loyola Marymount, University of San Diego and the University of Nevada, Reno as well.
