Taking a test can be stressful for many students, but it can be especially tense if the classroom conditions are not comfortable. On April 21, I waited in line with more than a hundred other students to take the Upper Division Writing Exam. At 10 a.m., we walked into the Johnson Auditorium.

California State University personnel have reported a record number of rejection letters have been sent out to high school seniors this past semester. Would be freshman are being rejected simply due to the fact that the Cal State system is overcrowded. These high school seniors have decent grades and good SAT scores, yet are being denied admission into the public university system.

Alumnus saves lingerie line

Forplay Lingerie, owned by CSUN alumnus Houman Salen, hosted its second fashion show at Fa?ade in Hollywood on Wednesday night. Prior to the show, the backstage area was filled with excited models. Some were getting dressed while others were waiting for their hair and make-up to be prepared.

The CSUN Greens hosted an Iraq War Teach-in Monday night in the University Student Union's Grand Salon. The event featured a number of panelists and music by the band Yucatan Toucan. Free pizza and literature on the Iraq War and the Green Party was also distributed.

The CSUN track and field team earned its first points of the 2007 Big West Championships during the multi-events portion of the competition at the Matador Track and Field Complex over the weekend.
