‘Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story’ has audiences singing its praise

Anthony Graham January 18, 2008
In many ways, an over-the-top comedy like "Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story" is tough to review. Is there anything in this world more subjective than your sense of humor? Don't think too hard on that one. What you really need to ask yourself is, did I ever see that movie "Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby" starring Will Ferrell? And, did I like it? If your answer to both questions is "yes," then you need to see "Walk Hard" because it's funnier.

Want soldiers to leave Iraq? Vote Democrat

Dylan Miles January 18, 2008
Almost every day this past year, I have had the displeasure, as a U.S. citizen, to read about the abundance of chaos and aggression that abounds in Iraq because of this country's stance on terrorism and the spreading of democracy. Tresvant’s treys topple UCR Highlanders 66-62

Alonso Tacanga January 18, 2008
In what players called a "wakeup-call game," the Matadors almost didn't get up in time from a nightmare. Deon Tresvant's three-pointers down the stretch, however, provided the alarm clock. Northridge trailed throughout the game, only to come back -yet again- in the final minutes, to stay perfect in the Big West Conference with a 66-62 win at pesky Riverside on Wednesday night.
