Northridge loses series against Riverside, 2-1

The Cal State Northridge baseball team was just one out away from winning the second game of its three-game series against the UC Riverside Highlanders on Sunday, but ended up with a 4-3 loss instead, resulting in the series loss, as well. The Matadors headed into Sunday's rubber match in Riverside with a 1-1 split in the series after losing Friday's game 3-0, then coming back on Saturday to deliver a decisive 14-5 victory.

Brian Wetzel, who has opened for comedian George Lopez, shared his autobiographical one-man show with students at the West Valley Room at the University Student Union.

The A.S. Finance Committee settled five items on their agenda and discussed two requests at a special meeting on Monday. They will meet again on an undetermined date in June to discuss postponed requests. The first appeal during the meeting was from journalism graduate Joselyn Arroyo's request for $295.

Voting problems plague A.S. from determining a president

When students voted on April 8 and 9 in the Associated Student elections, they believed that their votes would count and the university would soon find out the next president to represent the Senate. When the online voting system closed down the first day, losing 232 votes, students still believed that the paper ballots would be efficient in recording their opinions.

The disc's lead track "Candy Shop," produced by the Neptunes, finds the children's book author singing of her "candy" as she willingly welcomes customers to "come on into my store I've got candy galore; don't pretend you're not hungry I've seen it before.
